The short version

Aaliyan Gul began working with Shopify in 2009. The first client was Umbrella Bazaar, a wholesale umbrella supplier in the United States, whose store is still online. Since then the team has built more than 10,000 Shopify websites.

2009 was early. Shopify had only just opened its App Store and API to outside developers, and almost nobody in Pakistan was building on it. Starting then meant learning the platform as it was being made.

What 17 years teaches you

Shopify has changed its theme architecture, replaced its checkout customisation model and moved its APIs to GraphQL. Each change left a wave of stores needing to be rebuilt. Having worked through all of them, we build with the next change in mind: standard patterns, small dependencies, and nothing the merchant cannot maintain.

Open source

Many of the sections and fixes we use every day are published free on GitHub, from custom sliders and testimonial sections to speed optimisation snippets. You can read the code before you hire us.
